1/29/16 is the last date that I wrote on my blog. It is now 4/1/17. (insert shocked emoji here).
It has been FAR FAR FAR too long. I know I know, blogging doesn't take that much effort, its just sitting down and actually doing it. so here I am.
Lets see, where do I begin...well, first off: I'M ENGAGED! It was a lovely Christmas morning proposal, with the whole family sitting around the Christmas tree. My sister got pictures and video and it was just beautiful. I feel so blessed.
Speaking of feeling blessed, lets take about fate for a minute!
Fate; noun

Speaking of feeling blessed, lets take about fate for a minute!
Fate; noun
The development of events beyond a person's control, regarded as determined by a supernatural power.
Chris and I were destined to be together, I know it and believe it with all of my being. Fate brought us together and the moment I was around him, it's like I'd know him forever. Everything felt so comfortable. I was able to be myself 100% and he loves me for everything I am and everything I'm not. Since day one we've been so close. It's like my soul finally found its partner. Soulmates.
I cannot wait to marry this man. We're in the midst of wedding planning and we're just so excited! Its going to be a magical day filled with love, I can just picture it now. It makes me so happy.
So let's see... I'm insanely happy. I get to spend every day with my soulmate.
I have an amazing 4 year old who is the light of my life and my greatest accomplishment. He is really funny, just like his mama. and he is so sweet. He got his compassion from me. He loves to help people, which is something that has always been dear to my heart too. Of course, at 4, he can be rambunctious and quite, spirited - if you will. But, hes a good boy, hes my boy. And I love watching him grow.
We've pretty much taken on the family cat named Osie. She loves Chris the most. She will sleep with him all day on days that he's home. She curls up in our room most often, and likes to eat in here too. E loves her, and always wants to kiss her. He also always wants her to sleep on top of him, like she does to Chris and I. Its very cute.
I've obtained a collection of beads, and I've started beading, when I have the time. I've made a couple of necklaces and I have a few more in the works. When I can sit down with my beads and let my creative mind take over, it's really calming. Its also satisfying to see a finished piece.
I am trying to make more time for reading, although I'm not often successful. I am currently reading American Gods by Neil Gaiman, which I want to finish before the show comes out.
Shows! Here are the shows I'm into: Orange Is The New Black. Game of Thrones. This Is Us.
When I can catch them: Teen Mom & Sister Wives (my reality TV fix).
Recommendation: The Night Of. Its a mini series, so its like a super long movie, but its very good!
Now that I'm thinking about movies, we've seen both: John Wick 2 and Logan recently and while they wouldn't have been my top choice, I did enjoy both.
I want to see the new Fifty Shades, and Beauty & the Beast.
Which leads to me my next point: BeautyCounter! I signed on with BeautyCounter and I LOVE it! The products are amazing! My top 3: Charcoal Bar, Charcoal Mask, Nourishing Face Wash! It you want to learn more, go to this site, and check it out. I've been able to make extra money, start myself and family on better, safer products and I've been able to educate others on how to do the same.
Well if you made it this far, Thank You for reading! Thank You for taking the time to read about what's been going on in my life. As you can tell, I use this as a journal and I like to look back on these posts and read them over again to see what things were like at the time I wrote it all.
I'll try to be better about writing more often, promise. xoxo -H
