halfway!
Here I am, one day before turning 22 weeks pregnant. I am halfway thru this pregnancy and it still seems like only yesterday that I was staring at the pregnancy test in my bathroom at 6am on a Sunday.
I forget what my last post was even about but i think i was only 16 weeks or so.
Since then we have found out that we are having a BOY! I knew it all along. I just had a feeling that I was carrying a boy. I had dreams that it was a boy and I had other people tell me they thought it was a boy, and boy were they right. haha.
We went for the anatomy scan where we found out the sex but also they look at every part of the baby. the heart, the head, the stomach, the kidneys, the arms, legs, hands, feet, fingers and toes and everything in between. It was truly amazing to see all these body parts and organs and to think that we create that. we created this life. the little heart that is beating in there, we made that. It is insane, and if i think about it too long I start to get weirded out only because it is still weird to think that there is a living being inside of me. its like i am 2 people at once.. kinda.
anyways, everything looks great and we have heard the heartbeart twice now, what a sound that is! I am feeling baby move on a daily basis which is awesome! and I am growing by the day. One big change that i noticed lately is that my belly button is starting to turn into an outtie. its popping out more and more. it feels very different than what i am used to.
we created our baby registry and I have bought some new maternity clothes... we are cleaning and organizing and preparing... i think i am just nesting in general.
everything is going amazingly well and i feel so very blessed each and every day. i feel so lucky that me and my husband are able to have this beautiful child. words cant truly describe how thankful and blessed and lucky we feel.
this is a wonderful journey that we are on and we're on it together and filled with love and happiness plus lots of excitment to see what the future holds.
