Our Wedding Day (finally)
Hello to whomever may happen to be reading this!
We have now been married for over a month. Newlyweds for 44 days! I can't say enough positive things about our wedding day. It had rained for 3 days in a row, and then, on our bi day, it was 70 degrees and sunny and just beautiful weather. We had been prepping for a week. The wholesale flowers got delivered on Wednesday, we had unpacked all the bins of all the wedding things, the rental company came and put up the tent and delivered all the tables, chairs, linens and more. We set up the 'great room' and made the centerpieces, set up all the little things like our guestbook, the card box, the favors and the place cards. Everything was set and in place and we were beyond excited.
I got a manicure and a pedicure on Friday, after that we rehearsed our ceremony at the church. We practiced what would be the biggest day of our lives. Then, we went to one of the local bars and had a drink as a group before we headed to our rehearsal dinner. The rehearsal dinner was so much fun! We had a blast! laughed, ate, drank and enjoyed being all together! And, we were all anticipating the next day.
So, here we were the day of. We spent the night apart, only to make the walking down the isle that much sweeter.
I got up early and went with my bridesmaids to the salon, we got our hair and makeup done, and although i was nervous I was excited and I was feeling great. I was enjoying every moment.
We went back to the rental house, I got ready, the car was waiting outside and before I knew it, we were off to the church.
When we got there, it was like everything I had imagined. My dad was there to greet me, and people were outside of the church and it was beautiful out and I was happy. Everything was going perfectly!
Waiting for the ceremony to start seemed so much longer than it actually was. Me, my dad and my bridesmaids talked and took pictures and took deep breathes as we prepped to talk down the aisle.
When it was finally my turn to talk down the aisle to my groom, I was looking at him as everyone else was looking at me.
