Red Sox beat the Phillies!
Okay, now that I am on a legit laptop I am hoping my typing will be more readable. I was on my nook earlier and clearly the touchscreen hated me. haha!
We went to the baseball game today and it was a lot of fun, so hot out but fun and the Red Sox won so that is always a plus!
We got Philly cheesesteaks, which they just call steaks...and I got my fill of Sonic, I am wicked excited to try Ritas!!!
There was a woman today that has stuck in my mind for one reason or another. We were walking back to the car after having eaten "steaks wit whiz" and on a stoop right next to the car, there was this older woman who was almost sickly skinny, and she had white hair and was smoking a cigarette and she had a bag of some sort and a loaf of bread wrapped up. she was sitting with her legs crossed, smoking her cigarette, watching the pass and she said Hi! and we said Hi back, and she said How are you and we said good and you? and at this point I thought she might be the type of person who may ask for some 'help' or some money... but then my fiance said have a good day, and she said thank you, you have a great day too. and it was a nice, sweet exchange. and then we just drove away and she was still just sitting there. she didnt seem unhappy but i had a feeling like i wanted to help her...she didnt even ask or suggest that, i just got that feeling. but anyways, she was really nice and innocent (or at least seemed so) and it was a pleasant exchange with a total stranger in a new city that I haven't ever been to before. It reminded me that there are nice people out there who welcome tourists to their home.
okay, well thats about all. we are watching mrs.doubtfire and relaxing in the hotel room. i am happy and enjoying my time off! until next time :)
