Cake Topper
Today, I finally (since it seems like forever since I printed them) put all the Save The Dates in the little slot at the post office, where they will then end up in the mail system and finally land in the hands of all those who are invited to our wedding! It crazy to think because now, everyone who is invited to our wedding will know it and everyone who isn't will know it. It's a good step though, because essentially we are giving all those invited about 10 months notice that we would love to have them be part of our big day!
We also took a trip to Michael's craft store today, http://www.michaels.com/ which is where we bought the printable Save The Dates from and we went straight to the wedding isle, well I practically jogged I was so excited. And we looked at all the things they had and we decided to buy the cake toppers that we both reallly liked. One is a secret, but it is very fun. and the other one is a silver monogram P with little rhinestones on it. I saw someones pictures recently where they used an S from the same company and same style and their wedding flowers were orange gerber daisies and it looked SO great on the cake so I am super excited and then we also have the "fun" cake topper to add, so I think it will all go wonderfully together.
After we looked at everything in the wedding isle we went over to the picture frame isle and there, we found what we will use for our guestbook! It is a black wooden frame that is 16x20 (i think) and then it holds an 8x10 (i think) photo and the white matte board around it is where people can write little messages. It even came with a black marker/pen so we can put a picture of us in there, and set the frame out and people can sign on the matte board and then, when we eventually have a nice place to hang it, our whole guestbook will be displayed for us with a favorite wedding day picture. I am excited because although the traditional guestbook is nice, you have to go thru it like a book every time you want to see your guests messages from your wedding day but with something like the photo frame, it is all right there to look at and its on display.
Okay, that is about all the update I have. OH actually I do have something else: MY DRESS came in at _____Bridal!!!!! So now, my entire order is ready for pick up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am ecstatic! I didnt think it would be so quick, but I am happy because now I can pick everything up and it is all mine and it is one less thing to worry about. So hopefully I can make it there soon to pick it all up. It will take all my effort not to try on the dress all the time from now until the wedding day. haha! Okay, until next time <3
