Back Home!
Well, we are finally back home after what seemed like forever on the road. We were in the car all day long, because the traffic was ridiculous. But, I should have been prepared for that because it is after all a holiday weekend.
Overall, I had an awesome time on our trip. Me, my fiance, my future brother in law and his friend all had fun and got along and shared many laughs. I realized that this was a trip of many 'firsts' for me. My first time at an Arbys, my first time at a Wawa, my first time at a different baseball field for a Red Sox game. It was all very much enjoyable and I loved being away for a few days.
I sometimes dread what I call 're-entry'.....it is when you come back home from a trip and you have to re enter into what you had left. I mean don't get me wrong it is great to be home and know you will sleep in your own bed and use your own bathroom and such but knowing that you have to come back into your home and you have to unpack and do laundry and get things settled and deal with getting prepared to go back to work, etc..... it can be quite anxiety provoking, well at least for me anyways. But, today it was like a breeze! I was totally fine. We came back home, I relaxed and ate some dinner, I unpacked when I was ready and that was that. we even made a venture out to Dairy Queen for some ice cream! I am a very happy girl!
tomorrow morning we are off to breakfast with a good Friend of mine who also happens to be one of my bridesmaids, and then we are going to go see the new transformers movie. So I am looking forward to tomorrow and I am loving the way this mini vacation is turning out!!!
Also, when I get back to blogging about wedding things, I think I will talk a bit about picking your wedding party, how do you know if you are ready to get married, how to talk about who will pay for what, etc.... things that are on my mind that I want to share with you all! :)
